The Bright Young Things were a group of artists and socialites including personalities such as Zelda and F. Scott Fitzgerald. This group of friends put our current party ways to shame, with extravagant games, drinks, drugs, affairs and the odd scavenger hunt (one of my favourite stories in the book).
Alison Maloney has divided Bright Young Things into different sections, making for an easy, organised read, allowing you escape the twenty-first century and travel back to the 1920's for a few hours.
For anyone who is a fan of the roaring twenties - the parties, the scandals and the people - this is the perfect book. A fascinating part of history and an extremely fun read!
